Overview
1962 Shelby Cobra
This beautiful example is a tribute to the 1962 CSX2001, the first Cobra ever produced and sold. There is only one example prior, CSX2000, Carol Shelby's personal Cobra. As documentation has unveiled, this car would have originally been outfitted with a 260 cubic inch engine. It wasn't until a few cars were produced and sold that the decision was made to outfit them with the infamous 289 cubic inch engines.
This Cobra 289 FIA CSX7091 has been constructed as a tribute to resemble the original example as it appears currently in Bruce Meyers collection. Some notable features include:
-Aluminum constructed body
-Black paint with white roundels
-Roll bar
-15" aluminum wheels
