This MKIII roadster is coated in sharp Titanium Silver Paint and sports chrome bumperettes, side mirrors, Monza-style fuel filler, and side pipes. The 15-inch aluminum pin drive Halibrand-style knock-off wheels are teamed with Cooper Cobra tires.
The 351-aluminum block engine with its 4bbl carburetor runs like a champ. The powerful V8 transfers its power to the road through a Tremec TKO600 5-speed manual transmission.
The black interior features leather seating surfaces, original-style hand brake lever, and period gauges and switches. The doors are secured by original-style carriage latches. All openings, such as engine bay, trunk, and cockpit are wrapped around the steel subframe for increased strength and support.
The Superformance MKIII is a meticulously engineered and crafted reproduction of the original, built under license from Carroll Shelby Licensing Inc. It has a heavy duty TIG-welded ladder frame chassis with crumple zones, fully independent front and rear suspension, and a Limited Slip differential.
