1963 Shelby Cobra
In 1962, Carroll Shelby took the sports car world by storm when it introduced the CSX2000 Cobra. Shelby American took the AC “Ace” chassis, inserted a new small block Ford engine and re-engineered the car to handle all the additional power. Weighing only 2,020 pounds, the Cobra easily vanquished sports cars from Jaguar, Chevrolet, Porsche, Aston Martin and others. The CSX8000 series features original transvers leaf suspension front and rear for an absolutely authentic driving experience.
This cobra is powered by a Blueprint engines 347 C.I. stroker (415HP) small block, dressed with cobra valve covers and mated to a TKO600 5-speed. Installation through V's Performance.
